Registered Psychologists
Psychologists hold either a Doctoral or Master's degree in psychology, and are licensed by the College of Psychologists of Ontario to provide psychotherapy / counselling, assessment, and diagnosis of learning, developmental, personality, and mental health disorders. Psychologists have many years of education and training, substantial supervised experience, and are required to pass intense written and oral examinations before becoming licensed. Only psychologists who hold a Doctoral degree may use the title of "Dr.".
Registered Psychotherapists
Registered Psychotherapists at our practice have a Master's degree in a mental health or counselling-related field, advanced training and experience treating mental health problems, and are licensed by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario to provide psychotherapy / counselling services. Psychotherapists do not provide diagnostic services, but are able to assess for clinical needs, and to treat a wide range of mental health problems.

Registered Social Workers at our practice have a Master's of Social Work degree and have received focused education and experience providing clinical assessment and treatment. They are licensed by the College of Registered Social Workers and Social Service Workers to provide psychotherapy / counselling services. Registered Social Workers do not provide diagnostic services, but are able to assess for clinical needs, and to treat a wide range of mental health problems.

Debbie is a registered social worker in Ontario with over 25 years of experience supporting children, youth, adults and families. She has worked in community settings and within the public education system, and has extensive experience supporting individuals through crisis situations, grief/loss, child welfare, life stresses, mental health challenges, and traumatic life events.
Debbie provides counselling and psychotherapy services for children, teens, and parents, for a range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress management, and general well-being.
